If you were considering getting a heat pump, this could be your sign 👀
On November 1, Ontario's regulated electricity prices go down compared to last year. Here's what the Ontario Energy Board set:
• Time-of-Use: 9.1¢ off-peak, 14.6¢ mid-peak, 18.9¢ on-peak per kWh (down from 9.8¢, 15.7¢ and 20.3¢)
• Ultra-Low Overnight: 3.7¢ overnight, 11 p.m. to 7 a.m. (down from 3.9¢)
• Tiered: 11.2¢ for the first 1,000 kWh a month this winter (down from 12.0¢)
Heat pumps run on electricity, so if one has been on your list, now is a good moment to start looking into it. Every home is different. The right system depends on your house, how you heat it today, and how you like to stay comfortable.

Note: the Ontario Electricity Rebate on your bill is also changing on Nov 1, and total bills vary with usage and your local utility.
