Ok, so I need to take clearer photos, but I finished bringing this fireplace to code. I extended the tile hearth and raised the mantle.

When doing home improvements, be sure to check building codes. This home buyer needed these modifications in order to get home insurance and mortgage.

Wow what a day! Drywall repair, recycled a load of bike tires, sanded a deck, and pressure washed a different deck. 11 hours later and I'm ready to call it a night!
