s in the 50’s — has grown into a family-owned and operated Restoration & Design business with an exceptional industry reputation

Driven to alter and change the landscape of the property Design & Restoration industry, cdrg+RedTeam strives to shed the cloak of negativity commonly looming over our contracting industry. Through client informative and honest practices, cdrg+RedTeam is transforming the mindset of Canadians, one client, one project at a time. The focus is shifted to the experience of the property owner, on the notion that the bottom line will inevitable take care of itself. As of Friday morning (July 3, 2026), Ottawa and Gatineau are transitioning from an emergency response into a massive cleanup phase under a smothering heat wave.

Mayor Mark Sutcliffe has officially called the storm “one of the worst flooding events in our city in the last 25 years.”

🚨 The Latest Numbers

1,900+ Basements Flooded: The city's 311 service has received more than 1,900 distinct reports of flooded basements across the region.

Power Restorations: Unplanned outages peaked at over 41,000 customers. Hydro Ottawa crews have restored electricity to the vast majority of residents, but roughly 3,000 customers remain without power.

The Ottawa-Gatineau area is cleaning up from massive, powerful thunderstorms that struck the afternoon and evening of Canada Day — and doing so under a punishing heat wave with a risk of more storms.

I was just sent this almost decade old blog I posted back in 2017...

WOW, I was blown away at how our sustainable diversification playbook has played out over time.

Here's a quote from 2017:

See the thing is, insurance mitigation ‘’work’ ’isn't what it used to be in terms of profitability and that's ok. The industry has become performance based and time sensitive so why fight it. Instead, I say use it in a + way. When it comes to the bottom line one can no longer look at each individual job instead we must look at the overall account. Today's water mitigation ‘’work’’ is still as important as it was in 1980 when my father founded the co. and that's why we continue to strive towards award winning performance based mitigation service but what the REinvestment group of companies does is design build commercial rental properties to create a revenue stream that allows us to REinvest in the DR “work” company to make it more efficient and most importantly sustainable.

I’ve learned that it’s best to concentrate on things we can control. A figurative drip, drip, drip. Showing up, every single day, gaining in strength which in turn allows me more time to acquire new ideas, concepts and organize for the long haul.

The most important part of being a Dad is guiding, showing them the way and by setting a good example by the way you treat the people and situations around you.

A father leads by example and teaches by example. Sons and daughters are always watching, learning and listening.

The most rewarding thing in life is watching your kids grow up to be good, trusted, kind and honest people…and knowing that you played a part in that. And who knows, if one day they have the desire and will to become a father figure and leader they will have a full set of tools in their tool box to *trailblaze on their very own unique path.

I can say with confidence and certainty...both of my sons Xavier and Manix are well on their way to *trailblazin' & crafting their path.

Je vous aime les boys!

It's that time of the year again...

Friday at the Masters, where millions of hard working people will be hardly working this afternoon

Here's an interesting fact on Amen Corner which is the most-recognizable three-hole stretch in golf and a pivotal spot in deciding the Masters Tournament 🏆

What's in a Name?
The phrase, Amen Corner, was first used by Herbert Warren Wind in the 1958 edition of Sports Illustrated.

A Trying Trio
Amen Corner consists of holes 11, 12 and 13. The 11th is a par-4, the 12th a par-3 and the 13th
a par-5. The holes are named White Dogwood (No. 11), Golden Bell (No. 12) and Azalea (No. 13).

Stay Dry
Water is an important feature on each of the three holes. There is a pond that sits to the left of the green on No. 11. Rae’s Creek famously runs in front of the green at the 12th and tributary of it runs alongside the fairway and in front of the green at the 13th.

The Bridges
There are two significant bridges, named after past champions, down at Amen Corner. The Hogan Bridge, named for two-time Masters champion Ben Hogan, takes players to the 12th green.

The Nelson Bridge, named for Byron Nelson, another two-time winner, gets players from the tee to the fairway at the 13th.

I added the 🐅 photos just because... who doesn't like to reminisce on the most iconic Masters ⛳.

Enjoy and stay safe out there my LinkedIn friends and family.
