Another successful drone survey completed in the Ottawa region!
Using RTK-enabled drone technology and high-precision GPS positioning, we were able to capture approximately 0.3 square kilometre of survey data in a single flight. This approach allows us to efficiently collect highly accurate topographic information while significantly reducing the time required compared to traditional survey methods.
The georeferenced collected data will be processed to generate deliverables such as LAS, digital terrain models, point clouds, and CAD-ready mapping products to support planning, engineering, and construction projects.
Drone surveying continues to be a game changer for large-area data collection, providing fast, safe, and accurate results.
