You know you’re on a special job when the owner texts you: “paint chips are free” 🤣

Backstory - This is a rental property in Vankleek Hill which myself and considered purchasing about a year and a half ago. We passed on the deal but that wasn’t the end of our story with this place. Our friends at ended up assisting in the sale of the property, and eventually recommended Curb Appeal to the new owner.

The goal? - Paint-Prep. This metal siding had a beautiful mix of run-off, algae staining, heavy weathering and oxidation throughout. Our task was not to transform the place, but rather prepare the surfaces for the painting crew! 🎨

If oxidation to this degree was left on the surface, the paint used by the next crew would have a lack of adhesion to the siding - resulting in a massively reduced service life, and inconsistent results 🥹

Luckily we were able to get in and out quickly & can’t wait to drive by and see the finished product 😁

This 20-year old wood deck had never been sanded, stained or painted. With mould growth at the pergola to green algae build-up on the deck surface, this one put up a fight (which we won) 💪🏻☀️

Very thankful for Scott and Teresa Lambert of Vankleek Hill Vineyards for trusting us with their biggest asset - their winery!! 🍷 ☀️

This one involved a satisfying transformation of over 3,200 square feet of heavily oxidized prefinished aluminum siding!! 💦

Scott and Teresa were considering replacing all of their siding prior to running into Curb Appeal 😱
All it took was a quick phone call and an email & we saved them tens of thousand of dollars. We managed this project without any incurred business downtime for our client, all while keeping the patio up and running!
