LOCATION: PENTICTON, BC

Are you tired of being under-appreciated? Are you bored in your career as a welder, automotive technician, electrician, or carpenter (or maybe other trade)? Do you feel stuck because you can't afford to go back to making a lower wage in order to switch to a different career?

HERE is your answer.

A career in the Overhead Door Industry is both rewarding and enjoyable! Every day is different, and each job is unique. From small single-car garage doors, to massive airplane hanger doors, there is a place for everyone. If you like fixing things, we constantly have broken doors and operators that need repair.

Here's what we are looking for:

Successful candidates for trainee positions will already have an established trade qualification in another field, with a minimum of 5 years experience. In particular, we are looking for candidates with welding, automotive, electrical, or carpentry backgrounds. Consistent work history is considered a plus. Relocation may be considered for certain candidates but preference will be given to those who already live in the designated hiring areas.

Currently we are hiring for TWO positions for the PENTICTON, BC location.

The living space above will be MUCH easier to keep warm with R16 polyurethane insulation replacing the old uninsulated wood doors. New garage door openers manufactured by LiftMaster rounded out the install with the latest internet-connected (MyQ) technology in quiet belt-drive units.

Thank you Bandit Laser & CNC in Keremeos for the fantastic stencils. They work great! This will help us mark our gear so it doesn’t get lost. Even tried doing a ‘shadow’ layer and turned out great. Check out them out for all your CNC/Laser needs.

Safety tip: Painting highly visible and contrasting colours on your ladder sides can enhance worker safety by ensuring those in the vicinity are more attentive. Be sure not to paint over important labels.

Looking for an experienced commercial technician/installer. 7+ years exp. preferred. Will consider ticketed welder, electrician, or other ticketed tradespersons to train if we cannot find a suitable experienced candidate. References required. Full time work, decent pay, no third party health coverage at this time, but easy to buy separately. Company truck.

It's amazing how long old wood doors will last with regular professional maintenance. Eventually, however, it comes time to replace them. Before and after of one we did recently. Another happy customer!
