Leaks don’t happen by accident. They happen because of poor roof design, failing details, improper installation and aging shingles.

This cottage had a major trouble spot where rain, snow, and ice collected around the chimney, causing persistent leaks.

Our solution wasn’t a patch or some make shift solution. It was a permanent fix.

We custom built a chimney saddle (cricket), installed a new valley, added proper step flashing to redirect water safely away from the chimney and tied it all together with clean wall flashing for a nice cosmetic finish.

The result? A clean, professional finish and, most importantly, a roof built to keep the water out.
