A little before and after of a job we did out in Cavan Ontario. The objective was to remove last years storm damage, Remove all deadwood and do some weight reduction cuts on the heavier limbs stretched over the driveway and house.

It’s been a while since we’ve shared a before-and-after, so here’s what we were up to on this chilly day!

A late start due to snowy roads and high winds put us at our client’s home around 10 AM, ready to tackle two dead Norway spruce. With a long drag and limited equipment access, every bit of material was hauled out by hand or in one of our trusty ice-fishing sleds. (Those sleds earn their keep year-round!)

We wrapped up, cleaned the site, and were back on the road by 2 PM—just in time to clean out the trucks and head home before the temps really dropped.
