Eagle Update:

Early this morning Mr. Eagle was perched on the peak of the roof, (first picture 6:30 am) as he has been doing for the past couple of weeks. About 2 hours later he decided to fly to one of his favourite trees. (second picture 8:30 am) within minutes, natures miracle happened (third picture) his mate joined him in the tree. They sat together for a bit and chatted and then flew off to spend the day together. (and maybe meet his kids)

Hope for wildlife was here at that same time and explained that they will look after each other for life and she was probably away for a few weeks having their children. And of course, he would have been depressed without the love of his life beside him for the past few weeks.

So here it is, after 5:00 and we have not seen him since 9:00 this morning. We here at Norway Point Estates, hope that he is sitting down to a nice “family” dinner now and relaxing to heal up his bad leg. We hope he will return soon with his children to show us.

We want to share an update about the injured bald eagle that is here at Norway Point Estates.

We here at P.C.G.C. are following him very close and know almost every move he makes. He can no longer perch in trees, due to his leg injury so he perches on the roof of one of our houses. He takes turns between sitting on the peak, then going and laying on the flatter roof to give his leg a rest.

He also has a special place in the shade that he goes to when the sun gets too warm for him. We also have food and water in his special place for him and have, for a few days now.

The department of natural resources have been here several time watching him, as of a week ago he was still able to go fishing they told us.

Hope for wildlife was also here and watched him for a while last week. There is not much they can due because he is still able to fly, and that makes it very hard for them to catch him.

Hope for Wildlife are coming back again tomorrow to reassess him again and bring him more food. The P.C.G.C. team are going to assist them in any way needed.

We will post updates here, as we know the public is just as much concerned for him, as we are.
