Pitt Meadows Garden Club

10/08/2026

As the gardening season winds down, we’re taking a moment to enjoy the colour, blooms and harvests our gardens gave us this year—and to start dreaming about what we’ll grow next season. There’s always something new to learn, try or share.

We’re looking forward to seeing everyone at our next Pitt Meadows Garden Club meeting in October. Come connect with fellow gardeners, share a little of your season and leave with fresh inspiration for next year. New faces are always welcome!

🌿 Monday, October 19 at 7:00 p.m.

Are you growing something new this year? Gardeners always like to see what's growing over the fence-share your photos :)

Coleus is a classic, but a new plant for me. Our city hall had a display of Coleus planted at the entrance on Harris Road last year. The range and display of long lasting colours was an inspiration to try to grow some.

I have to say I would highly recommend this plant or try something new yourself-have fun and experiment. It's also been fun to practice propagation and this plant has been pretty simple to multiply with cuttings in water and soil.

Happy Gardening and everyone is welcome to join us at our meetings on the 3rd Monday of the month.
