Getting your home ready for new floors? Here are two tips to help installation day go smoothly.

🛋️ Clear the small things first.
If your installers have agreed to move large furniture like sofas, beds, or wardrobes, remove lamps, electronics, decorations, and personal belongings beforehand. Empty shelves and clear furniture surfaces so the crew can get straight to the heavy lifting.
🖼️ Plan for dust.
Even with careful dust control, some dust can travel beyond the work area. Move jackets, bags, and other belongings away, and discuss protection for artwork, frames, and nearby furniture with your installer before work begins.
A little preparation helps protect your belongings and gets the job off to a smoother start.
