McConnell Centre is entering its final stages in Burnaby. 👏

What began as an active construction site just months ago has now transformed into a nearly complete two-storey, multi-tenant warehouse development for Arc Projects, designed by KP Architecture.

From completed exterior façade work and glazing to finished office interiors, installed overhead doors, and advanced tenant improvement spaces, the progress across the site has been substantial. The project features 22 small bay units across 29,582 square feet, including mezzanine office space designed to support modern industrial users.

As we move closer to completion, we’re proud of the work our crews and partners have put into bringing this project to life.

Built from the ground up, the Capo way.

Construction projects are shaped by the decisions made every day on site.

As work progresses, changing conditions, active trades, and evolving priorities all require practical judgment in real time. Maintaining momentum depends on teams that can assess situations quickly and make adjustments without losing sight of the larger plan.

On projects such as Vulcan Way, experienced field supervision helped keep work progressing efficiently through multiple phases of construction while maintaining quality and schedule alignment.

Strong ex*****on comes from the ability to make the right decisions when it matters most.

Tilt-up work is now underway at The Grid in Port Kells.

These latest site photos capture a major stage of progress as panels begin to take shape and the structure starts coming together. Precision, sequencing, and coordination are critical during this phase, with each lift playing an important role in keeping the project moving safely and efficiently.

Tilt-up construction continues to be a core part of Capo’s work across industrial projects throughout the region, and it’s great to see another Conwest development progressing on site.

More updates to come as work continues.

No two construction sites are the same.

Ground conditions, access, weather, and surrounding activity all influence how a project unfolds. Adapting to these variables requires experience, practical decision-making, and the ability to adjust without losing momentum.

A successful build depends on staying responsive while keeping the overall plan intact.

The final stage of a project carries its own level of importance.

Handover is where every detail is reviewed, tested, and confirmed to ensure the building is ready for use. From final walkthroughs to system checks, this phase brings together the work completed across the entire project.

On projects such as CentrePoint One, this process focused on delivering clean, functional industrial units that were ready to support tenants from day one.

A strong handover reflects the care and discipline applied throughout the build.

Safety is a constant priority on every Capo site. As we recognize Construction Safety Week and NAOSH Week, it’s an opportunity to reflect on the standards and habits that keep our teams protected each day.

From ongoing site reviews to clear safety processes, maintaining a strong safety culture requires consistency and attention at every stage of a project.

We appreciate the efforts of our safety team and crews who stay focused on doing the job the right way and looking out for one another on site.

Industrial construction brings multiple systems, trades, and timelines together on a single site.

Keeping everything aligned requires structure, clear sequencing, and an understanding of how each phase connects to the next. As projects scale, complexity increases, and maintaining control becomes critical to keeping progress steady.

Strong outcomes depend on the ability to simplify and manage complexity throughout the build.

Quality on a construction site is built through consistency.

It comes from regular site reviews, clear standards, and attention to detail at every stage of the build. Identifying issues early and maintaining alignment across trades helps prevent rework and keeps progress steady.

On projects such as McConnell Centre and CentrePoint One, maintaining consistent quality across multiple phases and work areas has been key to delivering reliable results.

A strong final product starts with the standards upheld every day on site.

We’re proud to see Nordel Point recognized as a finalist for Best Industrial Development at the 2026 NAIOP Vancouver Commercial Real Estate Awards.

Delivered for Conwest Developments, this 202,646 square foot Tier 1 warehouse in Delta reflects the scale and performance standards required of modern industrial space. From early site work through tilt-up and final completion, the project brought together strong planning, ex*****on, and collaboration across the team.

It’s rewarding to see a project like this acknowledged among the leading industrial developments in the region. Congratulations to Conwest and all of this year’s finalists.
