Ever wonder how a tilt-up building actually goes up? At The Grid in Port Kells, you're watching it happen in real time.

It starts on the ground. Concrete wall panels are formed and poured flat on-site, reinforced to handle the loads they'll carry once standing. Once cured, each panel is lifted into place with a crane and braced until the structure ties everything together.

At The Grid, that process is well underway, with panels going up on this new industrial development for Conwest Developments. The scale of the panels, the timing of the lifts, and the coordination between crews all have to line up, and after more than 30 years specializing in this technique, that's exactly where our team excels.

What started as footings, formwork, and open ground at McConnell Centre in Burnaby has become a nearly complete two-storey, multi-tenant warehouse development for Arc Projects, with finished glazing, exterior façade work, and tenant spaces ready for lease.

Every Capo project moves through the same stages, it just takes time, precision, and a team that shows up every day to get it right.

At Centre Point One in Port Coquitlam, we worked with Nonni Property Group to deliver a business complex built around efficiency from the ground up, featuring high-efficiency LED lighting across flexible industrial units ranging from 4,058 to 30,000 sq ft. Every detail, from an internal loading courtyard to full turn-key delivery, was designed to work smarter, not just bigger.

McConnell Centre is entering its final stages in Burnaby. 👏

What began as an active construction site just months ago has now transformed into a nearly complete two-storey, multi-tenant warehouse development for Arc Projects, designed by KP Architecture.

From completed exterior façade work and glazing to finished office interiors, installed overhead doors, and advanced tenant improvement spaces, the progress across the site has been substantial. The project features 22 small bay units across 29,582 square feet, including mezzanine office space designed to support modern industrial users.

As we move closer to completion, we’re proud of the work our crews and partners have put into bringing this project to life.
