We’re also hosting a fundraiser for our granddaughter’s Highland dance team! This weekend, 25% of your purchase will help these incredibly talented girls get to Scotland to dance with the 78th Fraser Highlanders Pipe Band in just two short weeks! The excitement is real!

With admission by donation, heavy games, tons of music, dance, and culture, this is one market not to miss!

Exciting news!!!

We’re headed to the Uxbridge Scottish Festival this coming Saturday, July 25th from 9-4 in beautiful Elgin Park! We’re excited to be back out, doing what we love! Admission is free (and by donation) there is lots to see and do, and we would love to see some familiar faces!

This festival holds a special place in our family’s hearts. As many of you know, our 12-year-old granddaughter, Annika, is a Scottish Highland dancer who has been competing at the Uxbridge Scottish festival since she was just 4 years old! In just a few weeks, Annika, and her dance team from Pride of Stewart Highland Dancers, will be preforming along side the world renowned 78th Fraser Highlanders Pipe Band in Glasgow Scotland for their pre-world championship show, True North Strong. We are so incredibly proud of her, her teammates, and their hard working and absolutely fearless director, Dana Robitaille. The amount of work that has gone into this show is incredible!

The cost of getting a whole dance team properly outfitted and to Scotland is huge, and we wanted to help! We are thrilled to share that 25% of our sales from the Uxbridge Scottish Festival will be donated directly to the girls’ money pool to help with costs. If you are not able to make it to the festival in person, but would like to make your own donation, there’s a link to their fundraiser page below!

Hello Friends,

You’ve probably noticed our absence from the Port Perry Farmers' Market, but don’t worry, we’re still creating our unique birdhouses and feeders! Reach out via Facebook, or call or text us at 905-439-9605 and pop by to see us at our home in Port Perry. We’d love to see you!

This was a tough decision. During our many years at the Market, Miles has missed going to his Antique Car Shows, and I’ve missed out on travelling with our “Tiny Dancer” to her summer Highland Dance events. This summer will see her competing across Ontario and in Moncton, NB., and a once in a lifetime performance in Scotland! We’re so excited! As my 91 year old Mom says, we’re not getting any younger (😂) and we need to finally take time for ourselves

We’ll miss seeing you every week as we miss seeing our fellow vendors. Keep following us on Facebook because we’ll be popping up at a variety of Community events (both day and evening) throughout the season. We are so very grateful and humbled by your continued support!

Congratulations to the Sunderland Maple Syrup Festival Committee and its wonderful Volunteers for all the time and hard work in pulling off another outstanding event. Today’s the day!! 10am to 2pm !
Still not sure what to buy for that special someone on your Christmas List? Pop in to see me in our driveway this Saturday! (Miles will be downtown HO HO HO-ing) Unique feeders for birds and squirrels, houses for birds, bats & butterflies, plus some seasonal decor. My good friend, Brenda Margerison-Clissold from Being Sew Crafty, will be joining me with her interchangeable panel pillows, pocket pillows and book sleeves. Put on your woolies and stop by! You won’t be disappointed! 😊
