Our operation near Vernon, BC officially resumed this week after the Bradley Creek wildfire forced evacuations across the area, including many members of our own team who had to leave their homes.

We’re relieved that our crew and their families are safe and that we’re able to return to work, but we know the impacts of these fires extend far beyond our operation. Across the region and throughout the province, many people are still displaced from their homes, facing uncertainty, or dealing with the impacts wildfires have had on their families, businesses and communities.

As things begin to return to normal for our team, our thoughts remain with everyone who continues to be affected.

We also want to extend a sincere thank you to the firefighters, emergency responders and support crews working tirelessly throughout BC to protect people, homes, businesses and communities. Their work during wildfire season makes an incredible difference, and we’re thankful for everything they continue to do.

There's something we like about seeing our truck lit up against a dark sky. During the shoulder seasons, work often starts or finishes in low light conditions, and it's important that our equipment is set up for safe operation, visibility, and positioning, in any conditions. In this case, it means our truck is outfitted with adequate lighting, and we're using our outriggers for stability while operating the boom. Day or night, safety comes first!

That big articulated arm coming off the pump truck isn't just for show, it's a hydraulic workhorse. It unfolds joint by joint to stretch over obstacles, around structures, and into tight or elevated spots, then our operator guides the hose with a remote for pinpoint placement.

A look at a recent job we did with coloured concrete for a long time client. 👇
