I thought this was something worth sharing. So my 9 year old daughter is having career day tommorow at her school. Today she was able to dress up as “a worker “ she would like to be when she grows up. To my surprise she said she wanted to be a plumber when she grew up. She has never shown any real interest in my work until recently. I asked why she wanted to be a plumber and her response was this. “ Well dad you have a girl that works with you who is a plumber so I think I would want to do that too.”
The woman who works for me is Tabitha. Tabitha is inspiring other women and young children that they can do whatever job they may dream of regardless of gender or stigmas. Tabitha thank you for not only being a valuable employee but for also being an inspiration to those who may have been uncomfortable to pursue something that was considered a job for the opposite s*x. You may not know it but your are inspiring those around you.

14 years in business!

Wow! They say time flies when your having fun. It feels like it was just yesterday that I was driving around the car lots looking for a van to start the business. I want to thank my awesome staff ( Jordan, Mark and Tabitha ) for their hard work and dedication to our customers. I also want to thank our customers for their continued support and making us their plumber!

Tips to help prevent frozen pipes this coming weekend

Turn heat up more then usual in areas where you have water lines. ( bathrooms, basements, crawl spaces)
Leave cabinet doors for bathroom sinks and kitchen sinks open. This allows the warm air from your room to get in there and help to heat the space.
Leave the taps running (just a trickle) to fixtures close to exterior walls. Water won’t freeze in the pipes as long as it is moving. This is not always economical as you would have to let the hot water run too.
If your going to be a way. Shut off your water and drain pipes. Simply shut off you main water valve and open all the faucets. Leave faucets open until you return.
