Job Description:
Seeking an experienced, skilled and reliable foundation crew member. Position will be full-time hours but will be dependent on work load. A strong work ethic and attention to detail are essential. In this position pay will be determined on experience. Experience in concrete foundations is an asset.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- follow direction and instructions from supervisor
- be punctual and reliable for scheduled shifts
- unload material, prepare and maintain work station
- constructing, erecting and installing wood formwork for concrete walls
- follow all health & safety regulations when operating equipment
- complete all assigned tasks in a timely and efficient manner
- safely operate a variety of tools including saws, grinders, and a range of hand tools to complete daily tasks
- ensure work station and tools are cleaned and store properly
Requirements & Qualifications:
- have reliable transportation to and from scheduled shifts
- ability to physically stand, bend, squat and lift up to 50lbs
- positive attitude and work ethic
- good interpersonal skills and communication
- opportunities available for carpenter apprenticeship
Pay - $20 - $35 per hour
