Attention to our community. This is what we’ve been dealing with since June 30th, (July is the busiest month of our entire year) the town of Regina beach and RM of Lumsden decided to build up the haul road to the lagoon, we realize it is a much needed improvement but the timing could not have been worse. They gave us a detour route but did not make sure it was passable before doing this, it’s was a very rough few days but with some begging, we did get the rm to do some blading, therefore letting us continued hauling septic. If you’ve been wondering why the septic companies are behind, this is why, our load time has doubled. Well yesterday, they decided to dig up the portion of our “detour” route in to the lagoon. Well now it is impassable, actually we did try a load and got stuck, had to get pulled out by one of their dozers. So here we are, not sure where to go from here or what to do. We’ve called the CAO of Regina Beach, the RM, the Forman of the construction project and there is nothing anyone can do. Our hands seem to be tied.
