P3Architecture Partnership

P3Architecture Partnership Artistry meets functionality meets beauty meets innovation. The best architecture is about all of those things. It is also about people.

We spend most of our lives either inside buildings or surrounded by them. Buildings are where we live, play, study and work. Whether we know it or not, buildings greatly impact our lives. Since the 1950s when our original founder Joseph Pettick designed the distinctive SaskPower building, P3A has been committed to positively impacting people and communities through architecture. Listening, interpr

eting, researching, and communicating are key words that describe our philosophy. Our commitment is to the project and to the people involved along the way. Our attention to detail and collaborative approach make us a leading choice for clients throughout the province. We never default to the ordinary or stop learning, and we explore all the opportunities. We never forget about the people throughout the journey of a project – clients, consultants and contractors - or about the people at the end of a project who will experience walking into a new P3A building. By elevating design and service to our clients, we are creating a legacy of unique architecture for Saskatchewan and for the people who call it home

P3A attended the Grand Opening of St. Raphael School. The school is part of the North Regina Joint use school which was completed last fall. This was a SPRA-led project (SPRA - Strategic Prairie Regional Alliance - is P3A’s joint venture with aodbt architecture + interior design). We are proud to have led this new school project which will benefit so many in the community!

P3A is pleased to be leading a significant project for the Royal Saskatchewan Museum and the Government of Saskatchewan which involves relocating the RSM’s Research, Exhibits and Collections programs from the historic Annex building to 1660 Park Street.

The previous location was outdated and had little room for expansion, posing significant risk of damage to the collections and operations of the RSM. The new space will accommodate back-of-house operations, academic and scientific research, exhibition design, curation work, procurement and preservation of the Saskatchewan Natural Indigenous history, and the RSM’s collection of 3.5 million artifacts that are not on display.

Currently under construction, the design revitalizes the existing SLGA office and warehouse space into a modern state-of-the-art research and collection facility.

The new Regina Operations and Maintenance Complex (ROMC) brings SaskPower’s Regina‑area teams together in one consolidated location with the goal of supporting more efficient operations and improved access to the service area. Located on approximately 100‑acres of property within the Global Transportation Hub in Regina, the ROMC provides more than 85 acres of exterior storage yard space along with specialized buildings for logistics, fleet services, cold storage, and material staging.

Phase 1 of the project was completed in early 2024 and included five purpose-built facilities including a logistics warehouse, fleet vehicle maintenance building, decontamination building, cold storage and material staging building, and a guardhouse. Phase 2 is currently underway and will provide centralized offices, training spaces, labs, shops, and vehicle storage.

Designed to meet NECB standards and incorporate LEED Silver strategies, the ROMC reflects SaskPower’s commitment to modern, sustainable, and high‑performing infrastructure. The overall design supports efficient vehicle movement, equipment and material access, and long‑term growth, creating a centralized hub for SaskPower’s regional operations.

Developed in two phases, the Regina Breast Health Centre project was envisioned to create a warm, inviting environment where comprehensive breast healthcare is available under one roof. The initiative is guided by the principles of clarity, support, and ease of access, ensuring that every aspect of care is straightforward and comforting for patients.

The newly established centre will offer a range of services, including diagnostic imaging, biopsies, consultations with specialists, patient education, and guidance throughout the care process. In addition, the facility is designed to accommodate future on-site therapies and rehabilitation for post-treatment care, providing patients with continuous support as their needs evolve.

By integrating essential services in a single location, the centre ensures seamless access to diagnostics and treatment, fostering an environment where patients feel cared for at every step of their healthcare journey.

Proud to be a sponsor of this fundraising event for Royal Saskatchewan Museum!

Seven more days until our Artifact/Artifiction fundraiser on Friday, April 17. Can we give you any game hints? 🤔 Sure. Why not.

➡️There are 26 questions this year (and new answer cards where you fill in the circle ⚫ like in those old school multiple choice tests).

➡️Forget Google, ChatGPT or Perplexity. All 26 questions are cleverly specific to the Royal Saskatchewan Museum's objects, specimens and artifacts. Your best bet is to look past our poker faces, cross reference with the evidence and discuss your answers with other participants.

➡️It's not all about winning (though there is a $3000 CAA travel voucher grand prize). It's about the love and support for the Royal Saskatchewan Museum. We want to send a special thank you to everyone who bought tickets, our artifact sponsors, and to our title sponsors, Métis Nation—Saskatchewan, Harbour Landing Village, Bassendowski Fund and P3Architecture Partnership. Know that you are supporting our scientific research, exhibits and programs.

There are only 30 or so tickets left for Artifact/Artifiction. Buy your tickets soon https://royalsaskmuseum.ca/visit/events/artifactartifiction

Set against the cold Saskatchewan winter, bright felt shapes contrast the surrounding white snow - bringing warmth, colour, and softness to a frozen landscape. This conceptual installation - “Frosted Felt” - is in Victoria Park as part of the Frost Festival.

Congratulations to Meena Chowdhury, Intern Architect at P3A, for creating this piece which explores textiles as a form-finding medium; unlike rigid materials, textiles can curve along multiple axes, allowing playful, amoeba-like forms to emerge. Meena’s creation is sustainable and made from 100% wool; it will be repurposed after the installation, extending its lifecycle and minimizing waste.

The Frost Festival has lots to offer and is a great local event for our community!
