After what felt like forever staring at lines on paper and a whole lot of dirt… we’re finally going vertical 🙌
Walls are going up and this place is starting to feel real. Always a good day when you can actually walk through spaces instead of imagining them.
Funny side note—there was some early concern that the 2000 sq ft detached garage out back might block the valley views from the road…
Yeah… I think the house has that covered 😂
Excited to keep the momentum going—this one’s going to be something special.

My daughter Syd turned 18. 🎉
Which means somehow the tiny kid who used to watch cartoons on Saturday mornings is now an adult.
Her cake request this year was a teddy bear.
Several hours, a mountain of icing, and approximately 9,000 strands of buttercream fur later… this little guy was born. 🐻🎂
Was it easy? No.
Did I question my life choices halfway through? Yes.
Would I do it again for her? Absolutely.
Happy 18th birthday Syd. I’m so proud of the woman you’ve become. Love you more than you’ll ever know. ❤️
Also… if this teddy bear looks slightly stressed, it’s because it watched me make it.

🚜 Breaking Ground in a Big Way!
What you’re looking at is the start of something massive — a 5,500 sq. ft. basement excavation that looks even more impressive when you spot the excavator in the background and the two people standing off to the right. They look tiny next to the scale of this dig!
This is the exciting beginning of a brand-new Ironstone Custom Homes project, and seeing the scope of the foundation really puts the size and craftsmanship of what’s coming into perspective.
