Part 6 — Insulation

When we renovate a home, we don’t just make it look new — we make it perform like a modern home should. That’s why we replace all insulation during our full rejuvenation projects.

Older insulation breaks down over time, loses efficiency, absorbs odors, traps moisture, and often no longer meets today’s building standards. Many older homes also suffer from poor air sealing and little to no vapour protection, leading to drafts, uneven temperatures, high energy bills, and potential moisture problems behind the walls.

At Black Pearl Construction Ltd., we strip homes back to the studs so we can properly rebuild them with modern insulation systems designed for today’s standards and Saskatchewan’s climate.
