This has to be the best view from a kitchen sink in the Kootenays. Even with the window film still on it looks amazing.

Finally getting our hands dirty on this project in Rossland.

This “Passive House” build is such an interesting protect. As a voluntary standard for energy efficiency passive houses have a drastically reduced ecological footprint and result in an ultra low energy consumption for heating and cooling.

Look at how scary this is, It was certainly beyond time for an upgrade here.

There is a reason certain panels and breakers went out of production. Most of the time that’s because the manufactures were unable to bring their products in line with current safety standards.

It’s important to have your electrical system checked periodically by a professional in order to maintain the safety of your home and family. Just like you would with your vehicle.

We found this dangerous melted wire in a panel recently at a home in trail.

This particular wire was connected to a breaker that was oversized to the cable and the equipment.

Thankfully we were able to rectify this problem and repair the circuit before something serious and potentially devastating happened.

A very dangerous, free air splice we found behind a drop ceiling this morning.

The reason cable splices are contained in boxes is to protect you from electric shock and help prevent house fires.

Always make sure you use a Licensed and insured contractor for any and all electrical work. Your life could depend on it.
