now it's been nearly a FULL YEAR since I updated

I have been posting on Instagram so there's a bunch of jobs posted there

siince I first posted my ad around dec 20th 2023, I've had maaaybe six or seven 'days off', and on those days I don't know what to do with myself because I'm a workaholic

actually, my ad expired in dec last year, and I've been steady from my existing customers either calling me, or referring me to others (thanks by the way)

and I can't do any guitars or anything because those take longer than a day or two off and could be weeks to get anything more done on them

but hopefully after July (as I'm booked up until then), I'll get back to buildin' stuff like i want so much to do

long story short, I'm super busy fixin' n' buildin'

finishing up a really neat rustic brathroom/kitchenette, and a hundred or so other jobs since December, so I'll be posting ALL THAT very soon

just literally have not had the time to post it all

facebook telling me lots of views lately so figure I should posy something and yeah, uts been great, I love fixing stuff and solving problems

well, apparently its been almost THREE WEEKS since I posted

I've been busy that's for sure

since putting my ad up around dec 20, for handyman services, I had a few calls the very next day, so I went and did some small handyman jobs, and they all need be back in the new year whiiiiich, is now, to get other stuff done for them

here's some things I did, with a few customers needing more work after new years, which is right around now actually

pictures to come, since I'm not going to post a garage fu of stuff or some pipes, we'll here's a BBQ with a nice new burner

- put in a shut off valve in the kitchen so he could turn off the water and change the water filter

- cleaned p-trap, fixed water damage from ceiling leak and painted kitchen, bathrooms next, pics to come when all done

- unclogged a drain so he can use the garbage disposal, fixed leaking toilet that was installed three months ago (replaced the whole fl**ge and pipe)

- helped tidy a giant garage to make way for carts which I'll be assembling, and assembled a different cart, a generator, and replaced a burner in a BBQ

- helped move some couches to another location

a few back splashes and a small bathroom (vanity, toilet, floor and trim) coming up, and two really big jobs, like three weeks working 12 hours a day I'd estimate

new project for myself after all this in a few weeks after the big ones are done, stay tuned for aaaall that (hint: it's a musical instrument, figured I'll tackle that next)

UPDATE:

a few years ago I stained them black with polyurethane

then recently added these purple parts for adjustability, since they were just being held in place with wire for years, the slightest touch with knock the drums down

now.. it works!

built four years ago, finally made some changes so it works properly

made the inside of the rim smaller so it can actually be tightened down to create tension for REBOUND

and also, they trigger properly now (they didnt trigger as well when the piezo was mountted direectly, so putting it between two layers off foam gave it just enough room to move to pick up the vibration
