Vice Fabrication Ltd. was founded by myself, Mike Samson in 2007. As with so many of us in western Canada, the oilfield was my starting point. The never ending 5 year plan...

2019 was a turning point for Vice Fabrication Ltd. M

y passion for welding was still there but the lifestyle of the oilfield had to go. I always took immense pride in my work, perfectioning my welds one pipe at a time whether it would be displayed prominently or buried under ground. I felt the need for my work to be more meaningful, but also to be more present for my wife and two kids. Throughout the years of running beads on pipelines, welding structural steel projects and Tig welding stainless steel pressure piping, I was fortunate enough to learn a set of skills that would enable me to create unique, high end custom luxury gates amongst many other things. My wife is also quite present during the whole building process. She assures that your questions are answered in a timely manner, does the wood staining/painting and is always a great CRITIQUE of my work. We are both very artistic and have a passion for designs. Our gates are all hand made to order and materials are sourced within Canada. Bring us your ideas and we will bring it to life!

On a complètement revampé ces magnifiques stalles d’écurie avec de nouvelles divisions, façades et portes entièrement fabriquées en acier massif sur mesure.
La cliente s’occupera d’installer le bois dans les portes pour la touche finale, mais déjà comme ça… on peut dire que le résultat est incroyable!
Un beau projet solide, durable et fait pour traverser les années.

We completely revamped these beautiful horse stalls with brand-new, custom-built solid steel dividers, fronts, and doors.
The client will be installing the wood in the doors for the finishing touch, but even without it… we have to say, this barn is already looking incredible!

Nous avons eu le plaisir de fabriquer ces éléments métalliques sur mesure pour la designer Laurie Griffiths, dans le cadre d’un projet au Mountaineer Lodge à Jasper, Alberta. Des pièces entièrement personnalisées, créées selon sa vision afin de s’intégrer parfaitement au décor de l’hôtel. Une belle collaboration qui démontre comment la fabrication sur mesure peut donner vie aux idées les plus uniques.

We had the pleasure of fabricating these custom metal elements for designer Laurie Griffiths for a project at the Mountaineer Lodge in Jasper, Alberta. Each piece was completely custom-made to bring her vision to life and integrate seamlessly into the hotel’s décor.
