We’re so excited to finally share what we’ve been working on for the past five months, something a little more personal: our own home. 🖤

This is also an incredibly exciting step in our growth, as it marks our first full design & build project. 🔨✨

Introducing Skoga Haus.

After our first trip to Iceland, my wife and I knew that one day we’d build a home inspired by the Nordic design we fell in love with. Simple, functional spaces, natural materials, warm wood tones, and a strong connection to the surrounding landscape.

For Skoga Haus, that vision comes to life through a mix of black and natural wood, clean lines, warm interiors, and a home designed to feel like it belongs among the trees. 🌲

Follow along as we share the full design & build experience, from a piece of untouched land to the home we’ve been dreaming about. 🏠

When designing a home, we consider:
• How you want to live in the space
• Storage and organization needs
• Natural light and how it moves through the home
• Everyday routines and traffic flow
• How you like to host and entertain
• Functionality now and in the future
• The little details that make a home feel like yours

All with the objective of creating a home that looks as good as it functions for your lifestyle 🖤

For the past 10 years, I’ve been helping clients bring their ideas to life, and for the last 5 years I’ve had the privilege of doing it through my own business. Based in New Brunswick and originally from Newfoundland, I create custom home plans for clients throughout Atlantic Canada.

If you’re thinking about building a home, renovating, or simply gathering ideas for the future, I’m always happy to chat and help point you in the right direction 🏠
