Cold temps? No problem. ❄️
With it being -37° today, now would be a great time to checkup on your tub.
Here are some hot tub winter tips:
✅Ensure your cover is clipped in on all 4 clips to ensure it is sealed tight
✅Maintain proper water level, if you see that your water is an inch lower than the recommended level, fill it back up to prevent error codes
✅Ensure the tub is receiving power, all hot tubs should have it's own GFCI breaker, make sure that if it trips, its turned back on to keep things running.
✅When the weather is especially cold like it has been this week, check it even if it's not being used.
✅Going away for the winter? Have someone check the tub every day-every other day
✅Water balancing: its always important to make sure your sanitizer, alkalinity, pH, and calcium are all balanced for your and the tub's health any time of year, but its especially important that in the winter, even if you don't use the tub as much, that it is balanced weekly so parts like the heater and pumps last.
