**Lead Carpenter – Run Your Own Jobs (Renovations + Decks/Fences)**

Established renovation business in Saskatoon looking for a solid carpenter to run residential jobs.

Scope of work includes:

* Tile (showers, floors)
* Trim & finishing
* Flooring
* Framing & drywall
* Decks, fences, occasional sheds
* Light electrical + paint

This is a lead role, but I’m willing to train the right person into it if you already have strong fundamentals.

**What you get:**

* Strong volume of work through the busy season
* First access to all incoming jobs
* Flexible structure in slower periods (you can take outside work)
* Clean, paying clients (no chasing money)
* Owner handles quoting, scheduling, and client communication
* Autonomy on-site
* **Opportunity for a company truck for the right person**

**Pay structure:**
* $40-$50 Hourly

OR

* $35–$40/hr base
and
- 15–25% of labour on jobs you run
(Higher split on jobs you bring in)

**You should:**

* Be capable on-site without constant direction
* Care about clean, detailed work
* Be reliable and consistent
* Be able to problem-solve and figure things out
* Have your own tools and transportation (for now)

**Not a fit if:**

* You need hand-holding on basic tasks
* You cut corners
* You’re unreliable

**To apply, send:**

* What types of jobs you’ve worked on
* Photos of your work (important)
* Availability

No schooling required. Looking for someone who takes pride in the work and wants to step up.

Not in a rush to hire the wrong person.

When I do the math for risers I always aim for a six inch rise. On a ten inch run I believe this to be the ideal slope of a staircase. This one landed on exactly six inches. I also ( actually) reclaimed parts of the old wrought iron hand rail to complete the look.
