Details

Entry Level Gardener/Landscaper

Part Time-Full Time (weather dependant)

Seasonal

Weekdays (8:30 am- 5:00 pm) possibly weekends (extra hours)

Competitive wages (starting at $16.00 an hour)

 

Requirements

                  Reliable transportation We generally go to at least two job sights a day ,and reliable transportation to and between jobsites is a must.

 

                  Physical ability to steadily work a full 8 hohours outside canncan nohasise this enough, this will be physically demanding. You are required to crawl through gardens, pull and dig up plants (some may require your whole-body weight) move heavy objects (by hand or with a wheelbarrow) all while being in the hot sun for up to 8 hours. I’m sorry, but there is little to no way for me to accommodate if you can’t keep up with the physical demand of the job.

 

 

Assets

                  Previous work experience around plants either previous work in a greenhouse or doing regular yard work is an asset to this job.

 

                  First Aid Training - First Aid is a requirement for team leaders and is valuable information to have when it comes to working with our older cliental and outside in the hot sun.

                  Being a “Team leader”- as our business grows and expands, team members can become team leaders.
