Only a fool would prune their elms after April 1st 🀑. Elm pruning season is officially closed until September 1 πŸ›‘. Elms can be removed at any time of the year. However elm wood needs to be disposed of properly at a City landfill and cannot be used as firewood πŸ—‘οΈ. Elm stumps need to be ground out as well βš™οΈ

I'm privileged to have met and worked with this great lady, Linda Moskalyk, it was a fitting farewell ceremony today Wiggins park. Linda was the ultimate advocate for trees in Saskatoon. Her passion and love of trees will be very tough to replace. She will be missed!

Thanks to our landscaping team for planting over 110 trees this year. As part of our Plant For Kids Program, today we donated $700 to the Jim Pattison Children’s Hospital Foundation radiothon. We donate $5 for every tree we plant. We challenge other arborist and landscape companies to donate to tomorrow’s radiothon
