Bet you didn’t know… restoration sometimes means cleaning thousands of LEGO pieces.

Our crews see all kinds of contents come through after unexpected damages and yes, LEGO collections are definitely one of them. Every piece gets carefully sorted, cleaned, sanitized, and dried by hand to help save treasured collections and get them back home safely.

It’s detailed work, a little time consuming, and definitely not something most people picture when they think of restoration.

Join us from 10:00am – 3:00pm at participating Canadian Tire locations in Saskatoon (Preston Crossing & Confederation Drive) as we help collect bikes, scooters, helmets, horns, and other riding gear for kids in our community.

Meet Miranda!

With a decade of experience at Fire & Flood, Miranda plays an important role in keeping projects organized, on track, and moving forward. Over the past 10 years, she has developed strong industry knowledge, completing certifications in Water Damage Restoration (WRT), Xactimate, and Applied Structural Drying (ASD).

As one of our Compliance Managers, Miranda helps ensure that projects meet insurer timelines and that every claim progresses smoothly from the initial emergency through to final repairs. She especially enjoys working on large losses, seeing a site in the early stages of an emergency and being part of the entire process until the space is fully restored.

For Miranda, the most rewarding part of the job is helping keep projects moving so that clients can get back to normal as quickly as possible.

The Hollandia Cup returns May 22–24, bringing together youth soccer teams from across the region for a weekend full of competition, teamwork, and community spirit. We’re excited to cheer on the players, families, coaches, and volunteers who make this tournament such a special event.

Last weekend our team rolled up their sleeves for the Meewasin Clean-Up and collected over 50 extra-large bags of litter from our riverbank trails and green spaces. A huge thank you to everyone who came out to help keep our city beautiful!

The Meewasin Clean-Up campaign runs until May 31st, so there’s still plenty of time to get involved. Grab some gloves, gather your crew, and help make a difference (one bag at a time!)

Meet Randy!

Randy lives in the RM of Laird and brings over 25 years of experience in the building and construction industry to the Fire & Flood team. After spotting one of the company’s trucks driving down Circle Drive, he thought it looked like a pretty great place to work and just over a year later, he’s proud to be part of the team.

As a Project Manager, Randy enjoys starting each day by connecting with his crew and making sure they have everything they need to succeed on the job. With decades of hands-on construction experience, he values teamwork, preparation, and finding practical solutions to keep projects moving forward.

Outside of work, Randy enjoys spending time with his family, being outdoors, and anything with a gas-powered engine 🏎️
