Spruce planted by the owner's father 70 years ago, felled by a storm in fall 2021, cut to length by the owner, slabbed by Stuart August 2022, and ready to go. Tight, straight grain. Will be a beautiful mantle or furniture piece as the center of attraction in any room.

Planed smooth both sides.

The two narrow slabs are dry and ready for construction - less than 10% moisture, 8 feet long x 10 inches wide x 1/2 inch thick, $50 each. The short one is 5 feet x 6 inches x 1/2 inch, $20.

The 2 large slabs are 8 feet x 3-1/4 inches thick x 10-12 inches wide. Currently 12-15% moisture, $150 each now, before they are fully dry. Price goes up next spring.

Thank you to everyone who we met over this past year. We have been introduced to as many diverse, creative, and exciting wood-working projects as there have been individuals walking into the shop. Hopefully we've helped make some great art, gifts, decor, and furniture pieces for the home, even a few heirloom projects that will be passed through a few generations, because we've made a few new friends this year, too. Here's wishing everyone a great 2021.

Recently we have been asked if we are wheelchair accessible to see our lumber, and would like to take the opportunity to clarify - YES! Come on over!

The lumber storage building is ground level and our driveway is flat. It is wheelchair accessible and the wood is laid out such that it is easily seen from sitting level. Of course we are happy to assist in any way we can to show you any lumber piece you are interested in. However, due to the uniqueness of each piece, pictures and descriptions are often not enough and often do not convey the richness and uniqueness of each piece. We frequently have customers tell us what they thought they understood is not what they were seeing in person, or what they thought they needed for a project is not what would actually work (shape, size, etc.) and discover something else that suits better. We do our best to communicate as clearly as possible any questions, but the inventory is best seen by coming to us. If you can get here, we're happy to take the time to rearrange it in any way to eagerly show you everything we have and answer any questions.

It's been a busy productive weekend sawing and planing. New spruce slabs and rounds added to the inventory. Large rounds from 16 to 26 inches wide up to 5 inches thick and slabs 23+ inches long x 2 inches thick. Dry, smooth both sides, and ready for construction.
