We met Aaron Wignes, owner/proprietor of Blue Chip Developments at the Saskatoon Home Show at the end of March, 2015, when looking at options for replacement of our old deck. We spoke only very shortly with Aaron, but were immediately impressed with his concise, knowledgeable answers to our questions including a quick ball park estimate of our project even before seeing the job site (which by the way, was nearly right-on to the actual official quote we had him do for us the following week). We booked the job for early May, and Glenn and Peter of Blue Chip were at our house as scheduled first thing on a Monday morning to tear out the old, rotting deck and construct a new, larger treated wood deck. What an awesome experience. The new deck was completely in place by noon the following day, and was well constructed and beautiful. Peter and Glenn were fantastic to deal with and by completion of the job there was not a speck of evidence that any construction had taken place. The whole experience was pleasant and seamless and you would never guess anyone had been in the yard. Nothing was out of place and we did not need to do a thing except start enjoying the new deck. We were thrilled!
We had not planned on redoing a fence this year, but because we were so happy with the deck, we asked them to also give us a quote on a section of fence that was in need of replacement. They said they would fit us in on the upcoming long weekend if we wanted to go ahead with it, and we did. This job was also completed within two days from start to finish, leaving us with the yard exactly as it was when they started the job except with a beautifully constructed new treated wood fence. Peter, Glenn and Greg did a fantastic job (forgive me if I missed anyone as I was not home at all times!).
This company does great work and has fantastic employees who are very knowledgeable and wonderful to deal with. We are very pleased!!
