My name is Chad (a.k.a. Sir Fix-A-Lot). Here's a little bit about me. I'm a 35 year old guy who was born in Yorkton and raised in Saskatoon. I've done quite a lot in terms of work and had acquired a number of skills that I've put to use over the years. I was a carpenter and cabinet maker, an apprenticed electrician, a stone mason for three years, and have worked on small to medium to almost large
home repairs and renovations ever since I was 8 years old (thanks Dad). I also worked in EMS for 7 years! I decided to go back to school in 2010 to get my Geo-Physics Degree. Phew! I was able to complete the program and obtain my degree in June 2014. When I graduated, the mining (oil) industry went on a slump. Only one of my classmates that graduated with me was able to get a job. Most went back to school to get their Masters. I decided to ride the mining slump by working as a handyman around Saskatoon. I already had the skills and experience and I wanted to offer this service to others. Well, it's been 2 years since I graduated Geo-Physics. There are still no jobs in sight. Meanwhile being a handyman has allowed me to stay in Saskatoon and help others fix their homes. My dream is to design and build tube amps someday.
