🏒 Let’s Fill the Stands for a Great Cause! 🏒

The ‘Greyhounds Guardians’ 2nd Annual Game, in support of Special Olympics Sault Ste. Marie is ready to take to the ice Sunday, March 1st in Sault Ste. Marie.

A very special charity hockey game is taking place with the Greyhounds, and it’s one that’s close to our hearts. One of our own team members has a son participating in this incredible Special Olympics event to raise awareness and support.

We’re proud to help spread the word and encourage our community to come out, show their support, and help fill the stands. Events like this make a real difference — not just on the ice, but also in the lives of families and individuals who benefit from the community's generosity.

After a year and a half of work, we’re excited to share that our scope of work at the Sault Ste. Marie Airport is now complete!

The Admin Building has received a much-needed refresh, including newly renovated bathrooms and new windows throughout the space.

Although our portion of the project is finished, work at the airport continues as the remaining elements are completed. While the project is in its final stages, as the general contractor, we continue to oversee the ongoing work as it moves toward full completion.

We’d like to extend a big thank you to the airport’s staff for their patience while they were displaced during construction. We know long projects can be disruptive, and we truly appreciate the understanding shown along the way.

We also want to recognize and thank our subcontractors, Superior Tile & Floor Coverings and Glass Employees LTD., for their hard work, craftsmanship, and strong partnership throughout this project.

Projects like this highlight the value of long-term collaboration and quality workmanship. We’re proud of the work being completed and grateful to have contributed to improving this important facility. We look forward to seeing staff return to a brighter, modernized space designed for long-term use.

Besides the bragging rights, he won the top prize, and the championship belt - which will proudly hang in his office for another year.

Each year, St. Vincent Place hosts a Christmas dinner for its patrons, creating a warm and welcoming space for everyone to gather. This year, we were honoured to contribute by purchasing enough cakes so that every guest could enjoy a sweet treat as part of the celebration.

We were also given the opportunity to support a local family who has faced unimaginable loss this year after the passing of their father in April. Despite the challenges they’ve endured, their mother shared how proud she is of her three children and the strength they’ve shown throughout such a difficult year.

With care and intention, we were able to purchase most of the items on their wish lists, along with a few personal items for Mom, family gifts to enjoy together, and gift cards to help with food expenses and maybe a little shopping fun!

We hope these small gestures help bring a bit of comfort, joy, and light to their holiday season. We are grateful to be part of a community that comes together to support one another when it matters most.

On our second day of spreading goodness and light, we partnered with to help brighten the holiday season. Our company chose the names of 10 seniors and purchased items from their Christmas wish lists.

On paper, the idea was simple; make sure they had something to open on Christmas morning. But what we quickly learned is that this was about so much more than gifts.

It was about dignity.
About being seen.
About reminding someone that they are remembered, valued, and not alone during the holidays.

This holiday season, for us, is always about giving back to our community, and we’re giving more than just gifts. We’re giving moments that can’t be wrapped in a box.

We are incredibly grateful to be part of something that brings warmth beyond the season—and reminds us that the smallest acts of kindness can create the biggest impact.

Through our monetary donation, we’re honoured to play a small part in helping bring warmth, comfort, and a festive meal to those who may be doing it tough during the Christmas season.
