Mystic Rains Contracting is looking for an experienced Lead Hand Carpenter to join our crew in Sault Ste. Marie.

Weโ€™re looking for someone who takes pride in quality workmanship, can lead a crew professionally, and has strong experience in residential renovations, framing, finishing, trim, doors, and interior carpentry.

๐Ÿ”จ Full-Time Position
๐Ÿ’ฐ $30โ€“$45/hour (based on experience)
๐Ÿ“ Sault Ste. Marie, ON

Requirements:โ€ข 2+ years carpentry/construction experienceโ€ข Experience with hand & power toolsโ€ข Reliable transportation and licenseโ€ข Strong work ethic and attention to detailโ€ข Ability to work independently and with a team.

๐ŸŸข This week was one of those classic โ€œyou had to be thereโ€ moments.

Truss truck slid inโ€ฆ instantly sinks.
Crane shows up few days later andโ€ฆ also sinks.
At this point the snow is undefeated.

And the plot twist of the day? The homeowner sends us a picture from the plane touring over his property while weโ€™re hanging trusses. ๐Ÿ—๏ธโœˆ๏ธ
Honestly, respect.

Winter work hits different, but we still get every job done โ€” even when the equipment taps out before we do.
