We need your help!
Though we found and put offers on two spaces that would have been suitable for You Can Ride 2 programming, both of our applications were denied.
We are looking for:
• Help finding a landlord that will accept our unique needs or a business willing to let us sublease.
We require:
- 18+ foot ceilings
- A loading door at grade level
- Access to 3000-4000 square feet (~ $13/square foot gross annually)
- Available parking for a few events (evenings and/or weekends)
- A bathroom that could be made accessible
OR
• Help finding a temporary bike storage solution while we look for a permanent home.
We require:
- The ability to bring the bikes into and out of the space; a double door or bay door would be necessary
- The ability to access the space at regular times
- ~2000+ square feet
- A space in which we could run the Bike Return Event over 2-3 weekends this fall. A school gym or similar would work perfectly.
• A trucking company partner that would lend us (or provide a reduced rental cost for) 1-3 large (26’) trucks to transport our bikes between the events and the storage space.
Anyone with the following skills (or connections) able to help us during our transition period over the next few months, would also be very much appreciated:
• Legal (to review potential lease agreements, waivers)
• Accounting (to help us finalize our charitable processes)
