Last week, a few of us took the day off to play in support of a great local charity.
Thanks to Gavan Construction Company LTD for hosting the annual Glen Ralphie Memorial Tournament. Proceeds from this tournament go to School District 48 to support local kids looking to get into the trades.
Brandon, Andrew, Agustin & Ryan played 18 holes of golf.
Tanya was at our sponsored hole handing out lots of free goodies: custom pens, keychain LED flashlights, golf tees, water, gatorade and chips. We also provided a beer and/or cider to every player in their carts to start their day off with.
We also had prizes of hats and gift cards for the chipping game we created: chip a wiffle ball into some ductwork lined up on a small hill (think skeeball) ....the catch ? do it with a toddler sized left handed hockey stick!!

We are looking for a labourer/assistant to join our team and provide assistance to our journeymen in a variety of areas. The successful candidate will have experience in carpentry or labourer position. Plumbing, electrical, and HVAC experience an asset. The candidate will be responsible for following journeymans instructions, as they install ductwork and mechanical equipment. Candidate must be prepared for heavy lifting, working in small spaces, working with other trades. As of Oct 2023, no unskilled labourers will be allowed on sites, thus candidates should have an interest in HVAC and an interest in pursuing an apprenticeship. Must be prepared to work 10 plus hour days.

Brandon (Owner) and a helper from TM builders getting ready to install the heat pump on an elevated base at one of our jobs in Pemberton. Elevating helps protect the equipment during heavy snowfall, as well as making it easier to make all the interior connections.
