Loader Operator

Job description:

Municipal Construction Limited is currently accepting applications for a Loader Operator.

Our experienced and dedicated team, backed by state-of-the-art equipment, specializes in road building, paving, rehabilitation, asphalt production, aggregate production and liquid asphalt supply.

Duties & Qualifications:

The successful candidate will be a self-motivated individual with the ability to multi-task and have excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills.

The duties of this position include but are not limited to:

Operate and maintain CAT 980 & 988 loaders to load aggregate into haul trucks efficiently and safely.
Perform routine inspections, cleaning and preventative maintenance on equipment.
Support asphalt plant operations and assist with maintenance of plan machinery.
Set up and dismantle equipment at various job sites as required.
Monitor job sites for potential hazards or mechanical issues and reporting to supervisor.
This position will include frequent noise exposure, frequent standing, bending, walking and climbing.

Work Schedule:
Municipal Construction Limited prioritizes safe and sustainable work practices. This is a seasonal position.

Heavy Equipment Mechanic

Municipal Construction Limited is currently accepting applications for a Heavy Equipment Mechanic.

Duties & Qualifications:

The successful candidate will be a self-motivated individual with the ability to multi-task, work with little supervision and have excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills.

The duties of this position include but are not limited to:

Assist with inspection and repair various types and brands of heavy equipment
Follow schematics and technical manuals to help identify and resolve issues
Assist with transmission and drive-train repairs: repairing or replacing transmission components, differential gears, and drive shafts
Contribute to the ongoing reliability of all heavy equipment and complete preventative maintenance requirements
Test repaired equipment to verify proper maintenance
Make recommendations regarding repairs and methods for improvement
Adherence to all company safety practices and procedures
This position will include frequent noise exposure, frequent standing, bending, walking and climbing.

Work Schedule:

Municipal Construction Limited is currently accepting applications for a Crushing Superintendent to oversee crushing operations and ensure safe, efficient production.

With a reputation built on safety, innovation, and superior craftsmanship, we take pride in delivering high-quality projects. Our experienced and dedicated team, backed by state-of-the-art equipment, specializes in road building, paving, rehabilitation, asphalt production, aggregate production and liquid asphalt supply.

Duties & Qualifications:

The successful candidate will posses the knowledge, leadership and experience required to manage crushing operations effectively including:
• Strong knowledge of crushing equipment technology, tools, and operational procedures.
• Solid understanding of scheduling, cost control and quality assurance processes.
• Ability to supervise and manage multiple portable crushing spreads.
• Proven leadership skills and the ability to resolve operational changes efficiently.
• Knowledge of ship-loading operations would be considered an asset.
• Strong understanding of quarry operations, including Occupational Health and Safety Compliance.
• Completing routine equipment inspections and maintenance.
Work Schedule:
Municipal Construction Limited prioritizes safe and sustainable work practices and does not operate 24-hour crushing or double-shift schedules. This is a full-time seasonal position.

Compensation:
$125,000 – $155,000 annually
