Cornerstone Timberframes Based in Steinbach, Manitoba, we've been building timber frame and mass timber homes, cottages and commercial dwellings for over 35 years.

We focus on quality and precision with each and every build. You have discovered Cornerstone Timberframes… a family run enterprise located in Mitchell, Manitoba, with over 20 years experience building strong, beautiful timber frame homes and cottages in Canada and the U.S. Cornerstone Timberframes can be traced as far back as 1885. The family had built a sturdy timberframe barn that lasted throughout various weather conditions and years of use. “After 120 years of wind and storm the place testified to the work of a skilled builder who knew how to lock each of the timbers together into an amazingly resilient and beautiful structure”, recalls Wayne.

A picture is worth 1,000 words. Well in less then a month this project went from foundation to a beam raising ceremony to that last picture. It’s incredible what can happen in such a short amount of time with great teams on the project.
