We’re hiring a Procurement Specialist at Metalex Metal Buildings in Stettler, Alberta.

You would run daily purchasing, from purchase orders through vendor follow-up and receiving, and plan ahead with Estimating and Project Management so materials arrive when jobs need them. You would also keep qualified supplier options in place for critical materials.

Full-time, on-site, Monday to Friday. 5+ years of purchasing or procurement experience in manufacturing, construction, or energy services (3 to 5 years of strong sourcing experience is encouraged to apply). Metalex is looking for a certified Journeyman Ironworker (Metal Building Systems Erector) to join our field crews across Alberta. This role is primarily focused on rigid frame, pre-engineered steel structures — but also includes self-framing and foam panel buildings.

You’re expected to execute independently, hold the quality standard on site, and bring the kind of precision and ownership that sets the tone for the crew. We’re looking for someone who’s driven — by the craft, by delivering for customers, and by being part of a company that’s building something worth being proud of.
