In the Menotre Valley, the “𝗥𝗶-𝗱𝗶𝘀𝗲𝗴𝗻𝗶𝗮𝗺𝗼 𝗶𝗹 𝗽𝗮𝗲𝘀𝗮𝗴𝗴𝗶𝗼” (𝘓𝘦𝘵’𝘴 𝘳𝘦-𝘥𝘦𝘴𝘪𝘨𝘯 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘭𝘢𝘯𝘥𝘴𝘤𝘢𝘱𝘦) project promoted by the Municipality of Foligno, brings together villages, landscape, 𝘀𝗹𝗼𝘄 𝗺𝗼𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 and new spaces dedicated to rest and visitor facilities.

In Casenove, Belfiore and Pale, SANO2 supplied three 𝗧𝗘𝗖𝗛 𝗛 𝘀𝗲𝗹𝗳-𝗰𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘄𝗮𝘀𝗵𝗿𝗼𝗼𝗺𝘀, designed to be integrated into the facilities provided as part of the regeneration project.

An indoor solution, fully accessible and equipped with a stainless steel baby changing unit, designed to ensure continuity of service and consistently high hygiene standards across three different locations.

This project demonstrates how even essential facilities can contribute to the success of a wider regeneration strategy, turning landscape enhancement into a 𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗶𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗲𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗽𝗲𝗼𝗽𝗹𝗲 𝘄𝗵𝗼 𝘃𝗶𝘀𝗶𝘁, 𝗲𝘅𝗽𝗹𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗲𝗻𝗷𝗼𝘆 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗮.

These two days in London have been a valuable opportunity to exchange ideas on the future of 𝗽𝘂𝗯𝗹𝗶𝗰 𝘀𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗰𝗲𝘀, 𝘀𝗺𝗮𝗿𝘁 𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 and the development of 𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝘀𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗰𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀.

Safeguarding an archaeological site means not only preserving its history, but also making it accessible, enjoyable and capable of offering a visitor experience that reflects its actual value. This is the vision behind the redevelopment of 𝗟𝘂𝗱𝘂𝘀 𝗠𝗮𝗴𝗻𝘂𝘀, the ancient gladiators’ training school located next to the Colosseum carried out as part of the 𝗡𝗥𝗥𝗣’𝘀 𝗖𝗮𝗽𝘂𝘁 𝗠𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗶 programme.

The project includes the installation of a 𝗦𝗔𝗡𝗢𝟮 𝘀𝗲𝗹𝗳-𝗰𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘄𝗮𝘀𝗵𝗿𝗼𝗼𝗺: an essential facility designed to support visitors without compromising the identity of one of the most significant sites of Ancient Rome.

Every decision was guided by careful respect for the site's historical and architectural context. From the positioning of the facility to the technical solutions adopted, every detail was designed to integrate seamlessly into a place that preserves more than two thousand years of history.

𝗕𝗿𝗼𝗰𝗵𝘂𝗿𝗲𝘀 𝗱𝗲𝘀𝗰𝗿𝗶𝗯𝗲 𝗮 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗱𝘂𝗰𝘁. 𝗥𝗲𝗮𝗹 𝗶𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝘁𝗲𝗹𝗹 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝗮 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗲.

That's why we welcomed a group of Slovenian architects and designers by taking them to visit a selection of SANO2 and Prefabbricati Santerno installations.
The tour began in Garda, at a panoramic location overlooking Lake Garda, where in 2020 we installed a multifunctional structure featuring a DIVO H self-cleaning public washroom equipped with S5 technology, automated showers and a cantilevered roof serving the C***o lakefront.

𝗔𝗳𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗮𝗹𝗺𝗼𝘀𝘁 𝘀𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗻 𝘆𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗻𝘀𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝘂𝘀𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗼𝘂𝘀𝗮𝗻𝗱𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝘃𝗶𝘀𝗶𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘀 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆 𝗱𝗮𝘆 𝘁𝗵𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗵𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘁𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗶𝘀𝘁 𝘀𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗼𝗻, 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗳𝗮𝗰𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗮𝗶𝗻𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝗲𝘅𝗰𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗱𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻. For us, this achievement goes beyond technical performance: it means having created a space that continues to serve the community over time while enhancing the experience of everyone who visits this unique location.

Among the aspects that attracted the greatest interest were the live demonstration of the S5 self-cleaning system and the remote monitoring platform. Working together, these technologies enable efficient facility management while ensuring high hygiene standards, operational efficiency and continuity of service, even in the busiest periods.

SANO2's design flexibility was another key point of interest. Interior layouts, materials, finishes and exterior cladding can all be customized to integrate seamlessly into any architectural setting, from historic town centers and lakefronts to beaches and natural environments, without compromising performance, accessibility or quality of service.

This is why we believe in on-site visits. 𝗡𝗼 𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴, 𝗽𝗵𝗼𝘁𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗽𝗵 𝗼𝗿 𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗮𝗹𝗼𝗴𝘂𝗲 𝗰𝗮𝗻 𝗿𝗲𝗽𝗹𝗮𝗰𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗲𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝘀𝗲𝗲𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮 𝗳𝘂𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗶𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 that continues to perform year after year, earning users' appreciation while adding long-term value to the surrounding area.

𝗣𝗿𝗮𝗴𝘂𝗲: 𝘄𝗵𝗲𝗻 𝗽𝗿𝗶𝘃𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗽𝘂𝗯𝗹𝗶𝗰 𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗻𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸 𝘁𝗼𝗴𝗲𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝘁𝗼 𝗰𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗯𝗲𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗽𝗹𝗮𝗰𝗲𝘀

In Prague’s Vinohrady district, a neglected urban area has been transformed into a new space for recreation, social interaction and community life through the cooperation between ‒ which funded the project ‒ 𝗣𝗿𝗮𝗴𝘂𝗲 𝗠𝘂𝗻𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗽𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 and Partero, designer of Sobotecká Playground redevelopment.

As part of this wider urban regeneration initiative, 𝗦𝗔𝗡𝗢𝟮 𝘀𝗲𝗹𝗳-𝗰𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗽𝘂𝗯𝗹𝗶𝗰 𝘄𝗮𝘀𝗵𝗿𝗼𝗼𝗺𝘀 𝗳𝗲𝗮𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗦𝟱 𝘁𝗲𝗰𝗵𝗻𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗴𝘆 were installed to provide an accessible, reliable and always-available service for families, residents and visitors.

One of the most interesting features of the 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝗶𝘀 𝗶𝘁𝘀 𝗺𝗼𝗱𝘂𝗹𝗮𝗿𝗶𝘁𝘆: the structure, in fact, integrates two complementary functions – 𝗽𝘂𝗯𝗹𝗶𝗰 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗼𝗼𝗺𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗸𝗶𝗼𝘀𝗸 – contributing to make the park more welcoming, functional and enjoyable for the community.

The project also highlights the potential of 𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗵𝗶𝘁𝗲𝗰𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝗰𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗺𝗶𝘇𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗶𝗻 𝗽𝗿𝗲𝗰𝗮𝘀𝘁 𝗺𝗼𝗱𝘂𝗹𝗲𝘀. The external larch cladding and interior finishes were carefully designed to respond to the surrounding landscape and local identity, transforming an essential service into an integrated element of the overall project.

Because the quality of a public space is also shaped by the details that make everyday experiences better for people.
