After a lot of careful consideration, G.P.H. Mechanical Ltd. Has decided we are going to narrowly focus our attention on servicing the food pizza industry in Summerland and adjacent communities.
We clearly see that the future will be a place where pizza and other quasi Italian foods will be the only cuisine available and we intend to dominate the pizza mechanical support role.

I built 90" of insulated 26x12 duct out of 26g galvanized metal today. Our sheetmetal man has been sick and the work has been piling up in his absence so I had to put my proverbial thumb into the d**e.
I'm no sheetmetal tech but its the correct size and the correct length, so I'm satisfied.

We're working on repairing a boiler piping system in Rock Creek at a large farm.
The initial work was done by a local plumber, very poorly, the pipe sizing for the primary and secondary loops were completely wrong. The coordination of the piping was quite sloppy.
We're very glad to be able to get the sizing corrected and get this boiler system working it's best.

Lots more progress in Princeton at the daycare this week.
Today I started running out the branch lines off the main trunks. I grabbed my 5 blade hand crimper and noticed it wasn't my tool. It was John Brown's, he was one of our best sheetmetal workers and the absolute kindest and most lovely human being. He had some personal demons that caused us to end his employment. It wasn't a lot longer after he left that his demons got the better of him and sadly he's no longer with us.
He was a great man, a wonderful friend and as good a father and husband as he could manage. Finding one of his old tools brought all these emotions and sense of loss back today.

As our project at the phase 2 of Oasis residences draws near to rough in completion we've started our next commercial project in Princeton. This school building in school district 58 is being converted to a daycare for 100 children. It involves a total repipe of all the existing ductwork to suit the new wall configurations. There is also a new addition building which has a new furnace, 22 seer heat pump and very high efficiency Erv. We estimate we will be part of the community in Princeton for the next 3 months during the majority of construction.
Today we got the first PTO and 20 feet of straight accoustic lined duct hung above the truss lines.
