More Great News for Industra: New Niagara Region Project Awarded

Industra is pleased to announce the award of the Spring Gardens SPS and Forcemain Upgrade for Niagara Region, marking another significant addition to our growing Ontario project portfolio.

The project involves replacing an existing sanitary pumping station with a new shored, cast-in-place concrete wet well and valve chamber. The upgraded facility will feature submersible pumps, process piping and valves, SCADA controls, a motor control centre with variable frequency drives (VFDs), and a 175 kWe standby generator. Temporary bypass pumping will maintain station operations throughout construction.

The scope also includes approximately 460 metres of new 500 mm PVC forcemain, along with new inlet and overflow sewers and maintenance holes.

This award highlights Industra’s expertise across civil, concrete, mechanical, electrical and controls disciplines, and reflects the continued growth of our Ontario operations.

Industra Construction was pleased to attend this year’s Progressive Contractors Association of Canada (PCA) Ontario Golf Tournament & Members Meeting at Craigowan Golf Club in Woodstock, Ontario.

Industra was proud to support the event as a Tournament, Cart and Hole Sponsor.

The morning’s Members Meeting covered a range of important industry topics, including:

Work is progressing nicely on our Water Treatment Plant project in Midland, Ontario.

Project Award: Mill Street Sewage Pump Station

Town of The Blue Mountains, Ontario has selected Industra Construction Corporation for Contract No. 2026-05-T-OPS, Mill Street Sewage Pump Station.

The project includes the comprehensive upgrade and expansion of the existing wastewater pumping facility, including temporary bypass pumping and controls, building renovations and expansion, a new wet well, dry well expansion, new pumps and piping, electrical and controls upgrades, a new emergency generator and ATS, mechanical upgrades, a solar photovoltaic installation, and connection to the existing wastewater forcemains.

Industra looks forward to working with the Town of The Blue Mountains and the project team to deliver this important municipal wastewater infrastructure upgrade.

Project Award: Burlington Skyway WWTP Dewatering Upgrades | Burlington, Ontario

Industra has been awarded the Burlington Skyway WWTP Dewatering Upgrades project. The core construction scope focuses on resolving key bottlenecks in dewatering and treatment performance through:

- Pump Replacements: Full removal and replacement of existing thickened waste-activated sludge (TWAS) pumps to ensure efficient sludge load management.

- Digester Rehabilitation: Comprehensive structural rehabilitation of the plant’s existing anaerobic digesters.

- Secondary Clarifier Refurbishment: Complete mechanical upgrades and updated clarifier mechanisms for the plant’s secondary clarifiers to improve overall effluent separation and reduce maintenance risks.

We are proud to be delivering these critical upgrades to support the continued performance and reliability of the Burlington Skyway Wastewater Treatment Plant.

As partners on the Kitsumkalum Domestic Water System Improvements Project, we were honored to be invited to share our passion for the industry and help inspire the next generation to consider careers in the skilled trades.

Great day, great turnout, and an incredible opportunity to connect with future builders, operators, and tradespeople.

A special thank you to Brendan Moore and Dean Parsons for their dedication and hard work, both on the Kitsumkalum Domestic Water System Improvements Project and in helping make this community event such a success.
