🇦🇫 Afghanistan’s 107th Independence Day Celebration💐

It was an honour to attend the 107th Afghanistan Independence Day Celebration, hosted by the Afghan National Culture Society (ANCS) at Holland Park in Surrey, BC, 🇨🇦 Canada.

The celebration brought together elected representatives, Members of Parliament, MLAs, municipal councillors, community leaders, professionals, public officials, educators, health officials, law-enforcement representatives, members of the Afghanistan General Council, and distinguished guests from across our community.

Chairman Hameed Khan Wafa delivered meaningful remarks highlighting the importance of preserving Afghanistan’s rich history, culture, traditions, and national identity for future generations.

The event was a wonderful opportunity for Afghan Canadians and friends of the Afghan community to come together in a spirit of cultural pride, friendship, unity, and cooperation. It also highlighted the valuable contributions Afghan Canadians continue to make to the social, cultural, economic, and civic life of British Columbia and Canada.

Congratulations to the Afghan National Culture Society for organizing such a meaningful celebration and for its continued commitment to preserving Afghan heritage while strengthening connections with the wider Canadian community.
