This is what happens over time when the wind free-wheels an aeration fan with a single phase motor. A new centrifugal switch and a new bearing, and we're back to cooling/drying grain.

Cover the ends of single phase aeration fans to prevent premature wear! 3 phase fans don't have this issue, as they don't have a start winding/centrifugal switch.

Today, I am thankful for diesel fuel and hydraulics. This heavy clay soil is almost impossible to dig with a shovel.
