⛏ Mobile Home Series 3: Ground Work

Bobby is moving and shaping ground for a mobile home site: driveway access, lot prep, drainage planning, and screw piles coming next.

You can’t skip this part and expect the finished job to behave.

This is the kind of work worth talking through before anyone starts guessing.

If you know someone starting from scratch with land, a driveway, a camp, a mobile home, or a rural build, can you do us a favour, and send this their way?

🏡Mobile Home Series 2: Lot Prep

Bobby is working on the driveway, lot formation, ground prep, and screw pile plan so the site is ready for the next step.

It's out Kempt Head way, so you might recognize the view!

It is not fancy work, but it is the kind of work you want done properly before the expensive part shows up.

We’ll keep sharing this one as it comes together.

👉 This mobile home site started with a trench.

Not the pretty part, but the important part.

Before the home goes in ,the access has to work, the lot has to be shaped, and the ground has to be ready for what comes next.

That’s the kind of invisible prep that matters.

Ask Bobby before you dig.

New trailer in the lineup.

This one means Bobby can haul more of his Kubota equipment in one shot, which makes a real difference on outdoor jobs across Cape Breton.

Less back and forth means better setup means more efficient job sites.

For screw piles, fencing, grading, driveway work, land clearing, shed prep, garage prep, and all the “can you take a look at this while you’re here?” jobs, having the right equipment on site matters.

The machine matters.

The plan matters more.

And a good trailer helps get both there.

Project Story: Sign Install

This was a sign install I did B2B-style for my friends at Sixty Minute Signs!
We handled the install, including the concrete and metal work, and had it done in about an hour. Jobs like this are a good reminder that not every project has to be a big production.

Sometimes you just need someone who can show up, bring the right equipment, get the thing installed properly, and move on with the day.

We don’t manufacture the signs, but we can install them.

For businesses, farms, properties, entrances, and roadside visibility, a solid install matters. A sign has to stand straight, hold up to weather, and look professional when people drive by.

Scotia Screw Piles can help with: Sign installs, posts, concrete work, small site prep, and practical property upgrades.

Quick jobs still need to be done right.
