Responsibilities:
Plumbing Installation & Repair: Install, assemble, and repair pipes, fixtures, and fittings for water, waste, gas, and air systems according to plumbing codes and TSSA standards.
Piping & Fittings Work: Work with metals and non-metals to install/repair piping systems, valves, and fittings.
Pipe Cutting & Bending: Cut, thread, and bend pipes using tools like pipe cutters and bending machines.
Fixture Installation: Install plumbing fixtures including sinks, toilets, and baths.
System Assembly: Connect water supply, control valves, fixtures, and drainage systems.
Maintenance & Repair: Troubleshoot defects, replace pipes, clear blockages, and repair leaks.
Blueprint Interpretation: Read and interpret technical drawings for plumbing system layout.
Collaboration & Inspection: Work with teams during construction projects and inspect systems for issues.
Routine Maintenance: Perform maintenance tasks to ensure system efficiency.
Safety Adherence: Follow safety protocols and building codes.
Skills & Qualifications:
Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, tools, and equipment
Proficiency in blueprint reading
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
Experience with welding and soldering
Attention to detail
Strong communication skills
Education & Experience:
Preferred: AEC/DEP or Skilled Trade Certificate
Minimum: 2 years of plumbing experience
Preferred: Red Seal certification
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $25.00-$40.00 per hour
Expected Hours: 40-44 per week
