I hit a FB Marketplace jackpot last night. I've been looking for an improvement in the jack plane department and saw this Stanley that looked extra old. Lo and behold it's a Type 11! (1910-1918 mfg range) looks like it was dropped and mended many years ago, but it will serve me just fine for my life I'd say! My first block plane came with it, but I would have paid the $50 just for the no.5!

In other news, this made me discover that my Saergent Her cules is actually a 5 1/2, so I've been carrying an extra pound around for years!
