JOB DESCRIPTION
Solcan is a fast growing family owned business seeking a motivated Solar installation technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining and troubleshooting solar thermal, photovoltaic, and solar pool heating systems for residential and commercial clients. if your passionate about renewable energy and have hands-on experience we would love to hear from you.
Key responsibilities:
-install solar panels, inverters, and racking systems according to design specifications
-Perform electrical wiring and connect systems to the grid or battery storage
-Conduct site assessments to ensure proper placement and alignment of solar equipment
-Ensure all installations meet safety and standards to pass inspection
-Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with clients
Qualifications
-experience in plumbing PVC, copper.
-Ability to interpret blueprints and technical drawings
-Valid drivers license
-Welding and fabrication
-Experience working at heights
Training is available
Pay will be determined by experience.

We installed this off grid system for a gravel pit that was running their scale house with a generator. Every morning and night they would have to cart out the generator gas it up and it would run all day long. This system will save a lot of headaches for the yard supervisor.
