One day. That’s all it took. 🚧
Yesterday this was untouched ground. Today, the building envelope at our Greenough Harbour project is officially cleared and ready for the next phase.
Massive shoutout to Cory Rydall and his crew for absolutely crushing the site prep. When you’ve got the right team and the right equipment, big progress happens fast 👊

A beautiful deck starts with what you don’t see 👀✨
One thing we’ve been doing for years (and now seeing become more common across the industry) is protecting the joists and beams with joist tape before installing decking 🔨
It’s a small detail that makes a massive difference.
💧 Water loves to sit on exposed framing, and over time, that moisture leads to rot and costly repairs. By adding this protective membrane, we’re helping extend the life of the structure underneath so this redwood cedar deck stays strong and beautiful for years to come 🌲🏡

The temperatures are heating up, and this deck refresh was wrapped up just in time for the best part of the season ☀️
Fresh boards, a clean new look, and a space that’s ready for long summer nights, BBQs, and everything in between. Our team brought this deck back to life and gave these homeowners a spot they’ll be enjoying all season long.

The little details make a BIG difference 👌
Here’s John using the Camo hidden fastener system on this deck resurfacing project, keeping all the screws hidden beneath the surface for a cleaner finish and a longer-lasting deck.
Why we like it?
✔️ No visible screw heads
✔️ Less water sitting around fasteners
✔️ Fewer popped screws over time
✔️ A smoother surface when it comes time to shovel in the winter

Today’s one of those days that makes a project feel real.
After months of planning, walking the property, designing around the landscape, and talking through the vision with the homeowners… the machines are finally on site at our Greenough Harbour project.
Cory Rydall and his crew are getting started on clearing the building envelope, the very first physical step toward bringing this custom home to life.
There’s something exciting about watching untouched ground slowly turn into the beginning of someone’s future home. Big progress starts with the first push of dirt. 🚧🌲

A final catch-up on our Dorcas Bay Viceroy renovation… and this one is really starting to shine ✨🏡
What started as an aging exterior is now almost completely transformed. The new siding, refreshed front elevation, and all the finishing details are bringing this classic cottage back to life while keeping the character that made it special in the first place.
One of the best parts of projects like this is seeing how little daily progress turns into a massive transformation over time. Huge shoutout to the crew for keeping the site clean, protected, and moving smoothly from start to finish.
We’re in the home stretch now, and we can’t wait to show the final reveal soon 👀🔨
