Job Description
Title: Lead Interior Finisher/Finishing Carpenter
Duration: 1 year (performance reviews everything 30 days for the first 90 days, and every
90 days thereafter)

White Stone Contracting is seeking a dedicated and reliable Finishing Carpenter to join our
team. You must be passionate about carpentry, hard working, experienced, and willing to
expand your role inside our company.

Expected Outcomes
- Complete a 3 month probationary and training period
- Complete assignments on time and to quality and design specifications -
Meet safety standards as set by the company
- Work independently as well as lead a small team of carpenters as needed
Responsibilities
1. Building and installing cabinets, such as kitchen cabinets and under-stair cabinets
2. Install wainscoting, baseboards, door trim, and other final touches 3. Building and
installing stair railings, treads and risers
4. Installing interior doors such as pocket doors, and checking that the doors are
aligned correctly and open and close the way they should
5. Building shelves, other storage solutions
6. Erect fences and build decks
7. Carry out cost and quantity estimates of raw materials required for a finishing project
8. Carry out measurement and installation of wooden floorings
9. Guide and direct the activities of interns and trainee finish carpenters
Qualifications
1. High school diploma
2. 3+ years of finished carpentry experience
3. Eye for details and a perfect finish
4. Physical strength
5. Passion for producing results
6. Visualization and design skills
7. Manual dexterity and efficient handling of tools and material
8. Ability to work on your own initiative and unsupervised 9.
